An evening of music and inspirational mathematics talk by Kingsley School and Ben Sparks

Join us for an evening of music and mathematics on Friday 17th May at 7pm.

Is there a correlation between mathematical
and musical skill? Why are there 12 chromatic notes in an
octave? Why do some harmonies sound beautiful
and others not? Is it an arbitrary opinion, or something more fundamental? How on earth has One Direction got to be
so popular? Ben is a professional mathematics enrichment
speaker, based at the University of Bath but delivering inspiring talks around the UK and the rest of the world.

Ticket prices: £10 per adult, £5 per student.

Suitable for all secondary school students and parents who are interested in Maths.
