Curriculum
Throughout the Junior School, from Reception to Year 6, our philosophy is consistently to use the National Curriculum as a useful baseline for teaching and learning – but not as a be-all and end-all in itself.
Our 4-6 year-olds naturally follow a somewhat different timetable from their older schoolmates. Their curriculum includes Literacy, Numeracy, Science, IT, Religion, PE/Games, Swimming, Forest Schools, Art & Craft, French [wait till you see your child perform in the popular afternoon of French songs], Music, and Topic Work [incorporating History and Geography].
 
The 7-11 year-olds also have classes in Food Technology, Geography,    PSHM [Personal, Social, Health & Moral Education], History, Drama, Spanish, Design & Technology and Art & Design.
