At a celebration assembly this week, Sixth Form student Veronique Veillet and Tom Waters from Bideford Rotary Club presented a cheque for £425 to Gerard Fawcitt from North Devon Hospice. The money was donated from ticket sales from the Appledore Marine Players production of "Wings Over Westward Ho!", which was performed in the Theatre here at Kingsley School.
Veronique was singled out for high praise from Tom Waters for the talent and commitment she brought to this community project.
