Bideford 500 Heritage Day
Juniors and Seniors take part
Students and Staff from both the Junior and Senior Schools played an active role in Bideford's Heritage Day on Saturday 30th June.
Junior School pupils took part in the morning procession wearing tabards and carrying banners both of which they had made themselves. Jessica Barker won a prize for best costume and a group of pupils; Louis Hughes, Rebecca Tulett, Alice Beresford, Finlay Mathers and Louis Mathers, won prizes for best hats. Mr Woolcott won best adult costume for the second year running!
Later in the day students from the Senior School entertained passers by with a musical selection performed by a trio of string players and a dramatised recitation of the poem 'Drakes Drum'.
