In the last year of the current format of GCSEs for maths and English, Kingsley School pupils are celebrating a great set of GCSE results, with 100% pass rate.

Sixth Formers at Kingsley School are celebrating a great set of A-level results, with their A*, A and B grades up 10% since last year.

Kingsley School Judo welcomed two of Great Britain's top Elite Judoka this weekend.

In assembly on Friday, Rachel Turner from Cancer Research UK in the South West shared all the latest pioneering work that the charity undertakes to help research and find cures for cancer.

From Germany to Australia to the girls in Belvoir House at Kingsley School - millions of people around the world switched off their lights at 8.30pm on Saturday for Earth Hour to show they care about the future of our planet.

Yesterday, Year 9 students were given the opportunity to participate in Personal Development Training (PDT) facilitated by the Royal Air Force here at Kingsley School.

It was an exciting day’s play with several close encounters!

You might not have heard of Gamelan Gang yet, but we have a feeling that’s all about to change.

The United Kingdom Maths Trust (UKMT) Team Challenge encourages mathematical dexterity, teamwork and communication skills; whilst giving pupils the opportunity to compete against pupils from other schools in their region.

Kingsley School hosted the South West Gym Competition this weekend, organised by Katrina Venner and Gemma Braunton.

Mr Beechey and Years 7 & 8 enjoyed an activity day at Buckfast Abbey, the only English medieval monastery to have been restored and used again for its original purpose.

Today Kingsley School hosted the ‘Be Inspired Judo Festival,’ as part of the BBC Get Inspired Programme and along with the British Judo Association Club, which is based at Kingsley School.

Whilst millions of people around the world celebrated the start of the Lunar New Year on Monday, the theme of our senior school assembly was Chinese New Year celebrations.

‘Youth Speaks’ Team Through to Next Round

Our brilliant sports coach, Miss Braunton, teaches gym to all the children, from a young age; giving ideal opportunities to learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, fair play and dedication.

As part of the Year 9 Geography course we study Climates and Environments, with particular focus on the Tropical Rainforest Biome.

Well done to our U15 girls’ football team who got to the Final in the North Devon Schools Championships.

Inspired by his Italian roots, Mr Stella plunged himself into an intensive Geography lesson on his home land for Year 8.

Last weekend was an intense weekend of Judo for all of the Kingsley judo athletes, as the team travelled just over 1200 miles to compete at two different levels of competition.

Kingsley’s Year 13 Geography and Business Studies students have just returned from a packed 3 day visit to London and Essex, accompanied by Mrs Wivell and Mr Whaley.

24 A-level pupils have returned from the trip of a lifetime to Iceland. Geography, EAL, English and Photography students spent an amazing 5 days in this inspiring country.

Charlie, Greg, Rufus, Tom, Ollie, Nigel, Jonah, Peter, Jonny, Kieran, Alex, Dan, Fin, Will, Joel, Edison were the genuine heroes who stepped up and made the trip to Rencomb College, put their bodies on the line and came home happy, fulfilled and with an experience that will last a lifetime!
