The Prep School Team would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family.
We are very proud of the warm, family atmosphere that pervades our lovely school. With small classes in a home-from-home environment and excellent pastoral care, you can be assured that your child will be known, treated as an individual and encouraged to follow their interests both in academic terms and in a wide-range of after-school activities. Our aim is to enable every child to do the very best they can. Music, art, dance and drama play a big part in school life. Naturally, surrounded as we are by such beautiful grounds, the children spend time outdoors every day, playing, learning about their environment, enjoying the fresh air and playing sport. Friendships that will last through the Prep School and beyond are formed and the children move through their school life with confidence, with the care and support of teachers who tailor their learning around each child’s interests, making school fun and enjoyable.
Our Methodist tradition encourages our pupils to be outward looking, and to take an interest in and to care for the world around them, most particularly through our Forest School and outdoor education programme, along with our community engagements and charity fundraising.
A flexible day means your child can be cared for in our after-school care club right up to 6pm each night, having completed their homework in Prep Club.
We hope you enjoy visiting our website. Should you wish to visit our lovely school we would be delighted and proud to show you around, preferably during a school day, so that you can experience the school in action. We look forward to meeting you and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
