Year 13 biologists went to the Eden Project last week to research the adaptions of plants in dry climates. Although the trip was cut short due to the impending snow, the biologists were able to observe the plants in the biodomes. They also viewed an interesting exhibition on the human microbiome and work by artists Kurt Jackson, Wolfgang Buttress and Amy Shelton in the Plan Bee Exhibition. Students particularly enjoyed the microscopy images of bees! This is a wonderful exhibition and I highly recommend it as a half-term trip. You might even bump into Miss Timms and Mrs Last who are planning to visit!
