Saturday 24th June Mathematics Enrichment Morning

UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Enrichment Morning at Kingsley Senior School

We are inviting all Kingsley Year 5 and 6 pupils to attend a UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) Enrichment Morning at Kingsley Senior School on Saturday 24th June. The morning will start at 9.30am and be finished by 1pm.

There will be a morning of challenges aimed at extending and broadening the pupils’ mathematical knowledge. We are also offering parents and carers the opportunity to stay and take part in a workshop “Supporting Your Young Mathematician”.

The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) is a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of children and young people in mathematics. The UKMT organises national mathematics competitions for 11-18 year old UK school pupils. This morning will be exciting and fun but will also prepare students for future competitions in secondary school.

UKMT was established in 1996 and last academic year over 650,000 pupils from 4,500 schools took part in the individual challenges, the UK’s biggest national maths competitions. Each challenge leads into a follow-on Olympiad round. UKMT also run team maths competitions similar to this morning for older students.

If you have any further questions, or to confirm that you would like your child to come on Saturday, please email Caroline Bailey, Registrar at, also confirming whether you will be accompanying your child for the morning or just dropping them off.

Any questions, please contact me or Caroline Bailey – thank you.
