Harvest Festival Celebrations

A huge thank you to all parents and children who have helped us enjoy our Harvest Festival celebrations over the last few days. The children have had a great time, bring in, selling, buying and eating all the cakes! The cakes that were left over were donated to Harbour Bideford, as they said that the cakes would make a lovely treat for the people they support.

Today, we had our Harvest Festival assembly, with a special visitor from Harbour Bideford to tell us about their work. He was able to take away all the goods, mainly cans with ring pulls, to support homeless and needy people in the local area. As parents couldn’t be there, all class items were recorded prior to the event to be put online for parents to enjoy.

The Harvest festival assembly was also the first performance of our newly formed Kingsley Prep School Concert Band, performing Now the Day is Over. A video of this can also be enjoyed on our school facebook page. Considering this was achieved with just one practice demonstrates the considerable talent that these children possess.

Enjoy all the photos and videos!

Have a great half-term holiday, and we look forward to seeing children returning on Monday 1st November.
