Early Years – from 2 years

It’s generally understood that learning begins from birth. As babies are nurtured and grow in awareness of the world around them, they rapidly absorb knowledge through their senses, starting them on the ladder of learning.  Our aim is to meet the diverse and complex needs of each child as an individual, helping her or him to thrive from our philosophy of teaching children from two years old to their ability and not to their age.

Kingsley School’s Nursery provides a caring, stable and secure environment, which enables each child to develop self-confidence through play and learning to share.  Kingsley School’s Pre-School provides a safe and stimulating environment in which children feel happy and secure. With praise, encouragement and support, we help every child to develop a positive sense of themselves and of their class mates.

A wide range of activities helps children develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically. As the children develop, we foster their skills in language, reading and number work. Dance, music, art, cooking, swimming and physical education are also included in our weekly timetable.

In placing your child with us, you can be confident of our professional expertise in caring for children and rest assured that we shall make the transition from home to day care as smooth as possible for both you and your child.  Daily communication with parents and carers enables us to deliver the best individual education and care for each child.
