Happy New Year!

I wanted to share an excellent opportunity for Kingsley pupils in Years 10-13.

Chris Turner, CEO of UK charity Edukid (www.edukid.org.uk), is coming to school to talk to students about a trip to Uganda in the summer to visit the school we sponsor and be part of our ongoing project to raise money to build dormitories there. I have attached the brochure giving all the details.  The students will be given all the information on the trip which can be found on this link: Uganda briefing document. Sophie Littlejohns, from Edukid, is happy to answer any questions on the Edukid opportunity from parents or pupils directly via Zoom. To organise a phone call or zoom meeting with the Edukid link for Kingsley, Sophie Littlejohns, please email sophie@edukid.org.uk

There are only 30 places, and they are going fast. It is a fantastic opportunity to travel, see parts of Africa and learn first-hand about charity work. The trip costs £1000 and lasts for 11 days, a heavily discount from the normal cost of £2500. Edukid have approached us first as a local school, but later this week, this will be offered to schools across the country working with Edukid.

Once in a lifetime opportunity!

If you need any further information please let me know.
