The geographers in Year 9 have been studying climates and environments, and have recently been learning about hot deserts with Mr Whaley. Last week, the annual cactus/camel drawing competition was held. Students were asked to draw and annotate a cactus or camel (or both) with clear details about how each is well adapted to its environment.
Mr Whaley was particularly hurt after the entire class laughed at his attempt to draw a camel!
Congratulations to the four competition winners: Bethan, William C, Bodie and Mark. Today, each of them will carefully take home a cactus and hopefully keep it alive!
