On Monday Diana Percy brought her South American Instruments to school and shared knowledge about South American culture with our Y7 pupils. All the pupils had a go at playing various instruments.

Then on Tuesday we had a lovely French breakfast in the dining room at break. It was very popular as usual, with around 60 pupils experienced a bit of French culture eating a croissant or a pain au chocolat while listening to French music. A big well done to the kitchen team and to Mr Barker who cooked us a “pièce montée” !

On Wednesday there was a crepe cooking session at lunchtime with a few Y7 and Y8 pupils in the food room. The chocolate crepes were delicious!

On Friday we ended Languages Awareness week with Chinese and Korean Calligraphy. Our 6th Form students taught some younger pupils how to write their names in a different languages.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this exciting week.
