Academic Scholarships
Apply for an Academic Scholarship in a specific subject or pathway if you are able to demonstrate significant achievement, interest and aptitude for that subject or pathway.
Your most recent school report with indicative grades will be assessed as part of the criteria for an award, along with a reference from your current school and the successful completion of an academic online assessment.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate how they have developed their interest or knowledge outside the classroom. Please note a separate application will need to be made for each individual subject or pathway.
Scholarship details:
Sixth Form scholars complete a supervised Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in their subject area;
Upper School scholars complete a supervised Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) in their subject area;
Lower School and Prep School scholars complete a school-based project in their subject area;
Scholars act as a subject ambassador to organise and participate in events and activities related to your subject;
Scholars participate in all internal and external subject competitions and events organised by the subject lead.
Academic Scholarship Criteria:
Students seeking entry into Years 7-11 will sit a CAT4 assessment which will produce a measure of both ability and potential. Scholarships will be awarded according to this data.
An Academic Scholarship into Year 12 will depend on the student achieving 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 7-9, including Mathematics and English, and including any subjects that they wish to study at A level.
